Maxim Eshkenazy is one of the most amazing conductors I have worked with. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm, and maybe the best thing about him is that he isn’t shy about telling students they need to work harder. It’s what made us really good! This year, I live too far away to play, and next year I will be too old. Makes me a little bit sad.
